Cat behavior I call swirling
Round the Jenga tower curling
Swishy tail black and snake-like
Bye bye tower struck earth-quake-like

So much folding I've been tasked with
Look who's in the laundry basket
Maybe getting dressed is better
Now he's on my favorite sweater

When I'm ready for some cuddling
Something in his eye is puddling
Nothing says affection quite as
Much as dripping eye infection

Let him flee and off he's fled
Then cowers in the garden shed
Is he on a ladder top?
He doesn't learn he doesn't stop

His Royal Highness loves his plants
Regurgitant extravagance
You'd think he would avoid synthetic
That's what makes this so pathetic

What's that smell that makes me sick?
Egg and liver lobster bisque
Nope it's something even viler
Litter from the Box Defiler

Plays a baby on my shoulder
(Save the added ten years older)
Are my reading glasses drooping?
He will help with endless booping

Failed toys fill his collection
Cardboard box his predilection
He won't mind if it's been stated
Not all cats are complicated

I can see the sun is setting
Whoa, he's on my lap and I am
Petting, scritching, snug to kiss him
Cause I know how much I'll miss him
