A Break in the Weather
Let's Go Outside!
The City is paving
And someone is mowing.
My neighbor is blowing.
My neighbor is blowing!
I’m trying to thinking,
But all I can thinking
Is when will this racket start slowing?
When will this racket pack up and going!
A trash truck is beeping
And braking and hissing,
It’s steaming and someone is spraying.
Now hosing.
My neighbor’s composing?!
The crew that was paving
Is now misbehaving--
Jackhammers clamoring,
Stammering inside my head.
My doggos are bar! bar! bar! barking they want to be fed.
A dump truck is dumping,
Rocks are unclumping,
Making a raucous commotion.
Everyone’s shouting Laotian.
I’m scrubbing my deck,
And trying to thinkling,
But one thought keeps inkling:
It’s gonna start sprinkling.
Someone’s now sawing.
The buzzing is gnawing,
My brainstem is paying the price...
For wanting my deck to look nice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Moorglade Music Publishing is dropping a new track today. This loop’s got a solid groove, but I need to decide whether it’s worth developing or if it’s only meant to be a sketch. A universal dilemma no matter the medium, no?

This reads like a symphony of chaos♥️
